Summary (and Advertisement): The Town of Marshfield’s Facilities Department is requesting proposals, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) chapter 30B – Procurement of Supplies and Services, to enter into an agreement for Cleaning Services for our Town Buildings. We are seeking a reputable and qualified contractor to provide regular building cleaning services to ensure that our buildings are properly cleaned and sanitized to ensure safe conditions are consistently maintained for our employees, residents and visitors. The term of this contract is for one (1) year with two (2) one (1) year options. The contract will commence on 10/31/2026 and terminate on 10/31/2027 if the first Option Year is not executed. Request for Proposals (RFP) packages will be available electronically via email on or after Wednesday 9/21/2026. Emailed copies can be requested from Fred Russell at frussell@mpsd.org and/or Tony Bullock at tbullock@mpsd.org. There will be an attendance optional PreSubmission Conference and walk down that will begin Thursday 10/1/2026, at 9:00 AM at Town Hall Select Board office, address below. Sealed Bids clearly labeled “CLEANING BID” must be received no later than 9:00 AM on Thursday 10/8/2026 at the office of Ted Langill, Town Administrator at the Select Board’s Cahmber located on the 2nd Floor at 870 Moraine St. Marshfield MA. 02050. (tel. 781-8345563), where they will be opened and publicly read. The Town of Marshfield reserves the right to cancel this RFP and/or reject, in whole or part, any and all bids if it is determined that said cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town.
