Acknowledge receipt of addendum on the bid form as indicated. Clarifications: 1. Additional scope of work will include hazardous material abatement. See attached Asbestos Abatement Plan #280905 – Amendment #1. 2. Additional scope of work will include replacing two sets of double doors in Building 2. See attached Sketch SK.E-103. 3. Contractor to own complete demolition and removal of legacy pneumatic control system adjacent to the tank that is being removed in the lower level of the Building 1. 4. Abatement and removal of all hazardous material identified in the Emery Abatement Reports is to be included in the bid. Questions: 1. 2. Can work be performed second shift (or during school vacation periods) while school is in session? - i.e. the conduit rough-in work associated with refeeding the 120/208V switchboard in Bld 2? If so, please advise which items in the Contractor's scope - if any are able to be performed during 2nd shift hours and during school vacation periods while school is in session. A. Yes, work can be performed second shift or when school is not in session. Any work intended to be completed during the school day / school year is to be completed second shift. The switchgear manhole by Building H is a separate location and is not on the one-line. Please confirm the contractor is to provide the manhole, grounds, bollards, and two 4 in. primary conduits to each transformer, and confirm that HV cable, terminations, the utility switch, and any feeder from the manhole to the Building 2 transformer are not in this contract.
