CLARIFICATIONS TAYLOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT RFP #2026-27-01 STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH & COUNSELING Question 1: Could you clarify if the 11 service days per week requirement allows for a staffing model that includes interns, or are we strictly limited to licensed mental health professionals? Response: TISD would prefer the 11 days be staffed by licensed mental health professionals but would be willing to accept interns on some days. Question 2: We have a question to clarify which students will be served by this RFP: ● What grades? ● Which schools? ● What level of care/acuity of students? Response: ● Grades: PreK-12 ● Schools: All TISD schools ● Level of care/acuity: The program addresses the full continuum of student mental health needs (Tiers 1 through 3), focusing particularly on cases that exceed a general education counselor's scope and require intervention by a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or licensed psychologist. Question 3: We have a question regarding Taylor ISD's RFP (#2026-27-01) for Student Mental Health and Counseling Services. Could you please clarify whether the District is seeking telehealth-only service models for these services, or if in-person models are only being considered Response: We are currently seeking in-person services on campus. Question 4: Is the RFP on an "as needed" basis or will you be releasing a specific order set to the awarded agencies? Response: To clarify, this service will be provided daily on each campus rather than on an "as needed" basis. We are seeking daily services for most campuses, and licensed psychologists and/or therapists will be assigned to specific locations based on the days and times established in our final agreement. Question 5: Will the District accept virtual delivery services? Response: We are seeking in-person services for all campuses. Question 6: The RFP states the successful vendor should maintain staffing sufficient to provide approximately 11 service days per week. Could you please clarify the anticipated staffing model? For example, is the District expecting approximately two full-time clinicians and one part-time clinician, or another configuration? Does the District have an anticipated breakdown by discipline (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, School Psychologist, etc.)? The Cost Proposal requests an annual fee and asks vendors to identify any hourly rates that may apply outside the proposed annual fee.
