City of South San Francisco Community Facilities District (CFD) Communications/Outreach Specialist

Description

The City of South San Francisco is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide communications/public relations services in connection with the formation of a Community Facilities District (CFD).   In 2019, the City embarked on an educational outreach effort informing businesses East of Highway 101 of proposed transportation improvements and capital infrastructure investments.  The CFD Mobility plan proposed short-, medium-, and long-term improvements to traffic and transit mobility, and needed capital infrastructure investments positioning South San Francisco for success in the future. Unfortunately, in early 2020, due the Covid-19 pandemic, the City paused outreach efforts and have recently restarted planning efforts. Since then, the City has had numerous planning efforts, including adoption of the City's General Plan, Shape SSF 2040, providing the community's vision for South San Francisco for the next two decades.
