City of New Haven Network Based Camera System Support

Description

The City of New Haven (the “City”), is requesting Proposals from qualified firms to provide maintenance and technical support for its existing IP-based camera system.  This includes, but is not limited to, providing camera system maintenance and support, camera system design (i.e. camera and network equipment, installation, configuration), all associated camera system equipment (i.e. servers, storage, cameras, housings, software, network infrastructure, cabling, wiring, point to point and access points) and installation in coordination with the existing citywide camera system and network.  The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure one or more vendors to provide both monthly and on call service to maximize the operational efficiency and efficacy the City’s camera system.  The successful respondent (the “Vendor”) will be awarded a one year on call contract for repairs, diagnostics and planning.  The Vendor will be eligible for up to two one-year renewals of this agreement at the complete discretion of the city.  This project will supplement the existing award for the ARPA Police Camera expansion project.
