City of Mount Vernon Turf, Right-of-Way & Planter Bed Maintenance Areas (Small Works Roster)

Description

The City of Mount Vernon is requesting bids to maintain both non-irrigated and irrigated turf areas and weed landscape areas throughout the City of Mount Vernon. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to determine if mowing and landscape maintenance services can be provided in a cost-effective manner and, if so, select a Contractor(s) to provide such service(s) at the sites listed in Attachment “B”, Attachment "C", and Attachment "D". Contractor shall perform the services listed in the proposal as described in the specifications, in a manner consistent with the accepted practices for other similar services, performed to the City’s satisfaction, within the time period prescribed by the City and pursuant to the direction of the City Parks and Enrichment Services Operations Manager. This contract will start upon award, and end on October 31, 2023, and contain a two-year renewal option for years 2024 and 2025. Said option may be exercised by the Parks and Enrichment Services Director prior to the expiration of the 2013 contract.
