City of Cadwell Sidewalk Project

Laurens County Invitation to Bid Sealed Bids will be accepted on the following project until 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 4, 2026 and will be opened at the Public Bid Opening to be held in the Commissioner's Office located at 117 East Jackson Street Dublin, Georgia. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. All bids shall include providing all labor, equipment, grading, concrete and materials or other things necessary to complete the project. The project is located in the City of Cadwell and consists of removing existing 4' sidewalk and replacing it with new 5' sidewalk along Coleman Street and Walnut Street, as well as, removing sidewalk and then grading and grassing the area where removed along certain areas along Coleman, Walnut and Snowhill Streets. The project should be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. PAYMENT SHALL BE MADE BASED ON QUANTITIES IN PLACE. BID SHOULD STATE UNIT PRICE AND BID SHEET SHOULD BE UTILIZED. ALL WORK SHALL MEET THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GUIDELINES AND REOUIREMENTS FOR CONCRETE SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION. All driveways will have smooth transitions. Contractor is responsible for all traffic control and the posting of appropriate construction signs as required by MUTCD The successful bidder will submit certificate of workers comp., liability insurance and everify compliance when the bid is awarded. Payment and performance bond will also be required. The Contractor shall be responsible for completing the project by March l, 2027.
