The City is seeking qualified architect-led project teams to submit proposals to complete conceptual designs and assist in a committee process for final design of the City Maintenance Complex. The team is expected to include an architecture firm, mechanical engineer, civil engineer & construction inspection staff, geotechnical, and other subconsultants as determined by the lead firm. The selected architect will review and advise the City on possible construction contract structure options for the project including design-bid-build and construction manager at-risk (CMAR). No public referendum is anticipated as part of the project. Estimated project cost for the City Maintenance Complex project, including construction, architect fees and all contingencies is $25.9 million.
