The general items of Work include the following: removal of an existing corroded, prefabricated metal awning cover; removal of corroded structural members associated with the awning at two locations; design, procurement and installation of two (2) new prefabricated awning structures; improvements to existing awning structures; removal and disposal of waste; excavation and backfill associated with the two new awning location support posts; support post cast-in-place concrete footings; associated lighting under the new awning to match existing; protection of the existing lighting and electrical conduits under existing awnings; removal of existing awning coating product; installation of protective coating on existing and new awnings; and protection of existing facilities as shown on the Contract Documents.
