Chemical Expert - Industrial Petrochemical Plant

The City of Conroe, (City) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced chemical safety experts to submit quotations for professional services to review and evaluate all chemicals stored, used, or processed at an Industrial Petrochemical Plant. The objective of this engagement is to ensure the safety of the citizens of Conroe, the protection of public infrastructure, and the proper identification of fire hazards associated with such chemicals.The selected expert shall perform the following tasks:Chemical Inventory ReviewReview the complete list of chemicals currently stored or used at the facility.Verify accuracy of safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure regulatory compliance.Risk AssessmentAssess risks to the general public and nearby communities arising from the chemicals.Evaluate the potential for chemical exposure, release, or contamination.Infrastructure ImpactAssess the risk to municipal infrastructure (roads, water systems, utilities, public facilities) in case of chemical incidents.Provide recommendations for mitigating risks to public assets.Fire Hazard EvaluationIdentify fire hazard ratings for all chemicals reviewed.Recommend fire prevention and suppression measures in accordance with NFPA and OSHA standards.Recommendations and ReportingProvide a comprehensive written report detailing:Safety of chemicals to citizens.Risks to public infrastructure.Fire hazard ratings and mitigation recommendations.Deliver an executive summary for municipal leadership.Attend a presentation meeting with the City of Conroe to present findings and recommendati
