Central Transfer Station (CTS) Extra Hazards Group (2) Fire Sprinkler System

Description

Seminole County Government is seeking a qualified Fire Protection Contractor for the purposes of the Design and Installation of a Fire Sprinkler System for the Extra Hazard Group (2) located at the Central Transfer Station (CTS) located at 1050 SR 419, Longwood, FL 32750.The awarded contractor will be responsible for the removal of the existing system in its entirety, the design and engineering of a new fire sprinkler system by a licensed, professional Architecture and Engineering (A&E) firm and the final installation of the Fire Sprinkler System. The awarded Contractor is to supply all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, coordination and incidentals necessary to complete this project. *All work must be completed without disrupting the normal workflow of the facility. Most, if not all, of the work will need to be completed outside of normal business hours, which are Monday – Friday, 7AM – 6PM, Closed on Sunday.*Minimum Qualifications: Contractor must be licensed to do business within the State of Florida; be in business for a minimum of three (3) years, with four (4) similar projects completed within the last three (3) years. The contractor must be qualified and in compliance with all licensing and insurance requirements needed for said work. Contractor shall have, at time of bidding, State of Florida Fire Suppression Systems Contractor 1 or Contractor 2 license.Completion Time: (150) Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, followed by (30) Calendar Days to Final Completion for a total of (180) Calendar Days.Project Estimate: $792,000.00
