ITEM 9000-0005 CENTRAL COMPUTER COMMUNICATION CONNECTION DESCRIPTION – This work is the coordination and installation of internet service with Applied Information Inc. and the City of Reading for a connection to the internet with the central system computers with internal modem in the City of Reading Public Works facility and the City of Reading Police Department, Traffic Division. MATERIALS – In accordance with Sections 953.2, and as follows. Provide a surge protection device on the communication line if applicable. CONSTRUCTION – In accordance with Sections 953.3, and as follows: Provide an internet connection to the central system computers in the City of Reading Public Works facility and City of Reading Police Department, Traffic Division. Test the internet connection to ensure proper operation. Coordinate with Applied Information and the city, Ken Cochran, Information Technology Division at 610-655-6321 to obtain internet connection. MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT – Each. Includes any software, hardware, cables, connectors and connection fees to make a fully functional communications connection.
