Central Bikeway Project

Description

VTA seeks proposals (each, a “Proposal”) from qualified firms (each, a “Proposer”) to provide engineering services (“Services”) for the Central Bikeway Project (Mabury Rd./N White Rd intersection to Lawrence Expressway/El Camino Real Highway Intersection) (“Project”).  The Project includes the Project Approval/Environmental Document (“PAED”) and the Plans, Specifications & Estimates (“PS&E”).  This RFP is for the completion of PAED. There will be future design and engineering work (PS&E) awarded in stages (“Additional Services”) including 65%, 95%, 100% and Final PS&E, Design Services During Bid (“DSDB”), and Design Services During Construction (“DSDC”). Ideally, the same contractor who performs the Services would also perform the Additional Services.  However, VTA will only request Additional Services from a contractor who has demonstrated satisfactory performance on the current or previous stages of the Project.  To be considered for the award of Additional Services, Proposers must have included a statement of interest in performing the Additional Services, qualifications, and a fee proposal for such work in their Proposal for this RFP S25092.
