CITY OF POCATELLOREQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)FOR CITY OF POCATELLO CENTENNIAL-RAINEY LEVEE SETBACK AND ECOSYSTEM ENHANCEMENT PROJECT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTIONS Section I. Introduction The City of Pocatello has been awarded a WaterSMART grant from the US Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation, pursuant to the Section 9504(a) of the SECURE WATER ACT, subtitle F of Title IX of the OMNIBUS PUBLIC LAND MANAGEMENT ACT OF 2009, Public Law 111-11 (42 U.S.C 10364) as amended (the “SECURE Water Act”). This project includes setting back the levees along the Portneuf River adjacent to Rainey Park (right bank) and Centennial Park (left bank) in order to accommodate stream restoration, wetland creation, and improvements to the stormwater infrastructure at both parks. The City of Pocatello invites interested parties to submit qualifications to be the Resident Project Representative, as defined in the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) during the City of Pocatello Centennial-Rainey Levee Setback and Ecosystem Enhancement Project. The selected respondent will complete the Construction Engineering and Inspections for the project. The project is funded through the US Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation grant program. The awarded firm(s) must have substantive experience with public infrastructure projects, wetland creation or modification projects, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, local and state requirements for infrastructure improvements, and other relevant requirements. The awarded consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for the project.
