The City of Pontiac, through its Community Development Department and Housing Vitality Division, is seeking qualified organizations to provide community-based public services that address identified needs and improve the quality of life for Pontiac residents. Funding is provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Program Years 2025–2026 and 2026–2027, with up to $347,407 available across the two program years.The City is interested in organizations with demonstrated experience, strong community connections, and the capacity to deliver measurable results in areas such as workforce development, public safety and crime prevention, senior services, health services, substance abuse prevention or treatment, education, homelessness prevention and housing stability, youth recreation, and food assistance. Successful proposals will clearly demonstrate community need, CDBG eligibility, meaningful outcomes, and the ability to effectively serve Pontiac residents, particularly low- and moderate-income residents.
