The City of Manhattan Beach is implementing the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project 602745-24 Cycle 4 ADA Curb Ramp Project (CDBG Cycle 4 Curb Ramp) which provides improvements to site-specific curb ramps in order to comply with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meet the latest Federal Standards. This is a federally-assisted construction project as such Federal Labor Standards Provisions including prevailing wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon and Related (DBRA) will be enforced.The CDBG Cycle 4 Curb Ramp project will install new site-specific ADA compliant curb ramps to improve paths of travel. The improvements include the removal of existing non-standard curb ramps and the construction of new ADA compliant curb ramps with yellow truncated domes. Additional work consists of installation of hot-mix-asphalt slot paving, sidewalk, curb/gutter, cross gutter, and crosswalk upgrades (slurry with new striping).
