CCTV Installation - Police Department Holding Cell & DUI Room

Description

 The City of Hialeah Police Department is upgrading critical infrastructure to enhance security and monitoring capabilities within its facilities, specifically targeting the holding cell and DUI room areas. This project involves the installation of state-of-the-art CCTV systems, along with the necessary supporting hardware and software, to ensure the safety and security of detainees, officers, and the public. The CCTV system will provide real-time monitoring, high-resolution recording, and cloud-based storage, which are essential for maintaining the integrity of operations within these high-security areas.The project will be funded through federal grant funds provided by the Department of Justice (DOJ), with a strict completion deadline aligned with the grant’s expiration on September 30, 2025. The scope of work includes not only the installation of CCTV cameras but also the integration of conduit entry gang boxes, and the subscription to Ava Aware Cloud services. The selected vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including the requirements outlined in 2 CFR Part 200, ensuring that all aspects of the installation meet the highest standards of safety, security, and operational efficiency.This initiative is a significant step towards bolstering the City of Hialeah’s public safety infrastructure.
