CC Dam Relief Well System - Video Inspection & Pump Testing

Description

TRWD owns and maintains a relief well and drainage collection system downstream of the Joe B. Hogsett Dam at Cedar Creek Reservoir. The relief well and drainage collection system consists of a total of 76 relief wells with related discharge pipes and control ball valves along dam downstream toe berm as seen in Figure 1. There are two pump stations in the middle that divide the relief wells into west and east sections. The west section contains 44 wells 101 through 139 with additional 131.5, 132.5, 133.5, 134.5, 135.5 between 131 and 136. The east side contains 32 wells 140 through 171. The depth of relief wells ranges from 50 to 65 feet. The static water depth ranges from 2 to 23 feet. Each relief well has a concrete pad and a manhole cover. Figure 1: Site Plan
