CC 25-004 Child Study Evaluations/Case Management

Description

The Bridgeton Board of Education (board) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified firms/agencies to provide a comprehensive independent child study team evaluation on children referred on an “as needed” basis. Evaluations shall determine if the referred pupils are education- ally handicapped as defined in N.J.A.C. 6A:14.B.    SCOPE OF SERVICEAll evaluations shall be conducted in the dominant language of the referred child and shall include the following:a.    Psychological examinationb.    Educational assessmentc.    Social assessmentd.    Comprehensive health appraisale.    Case Managementf.    IEP Managementg.    Initial Evaluation/Referrals as neededh.    Eligibility Managementi.    Review IEP & re-evaluatej.    3-5 Days a weekk.    Attend Required Meetings1.    The Contractor shall provide to the parents of referred pupils, a written description of the procedure that may be used during the evaluation along with notification of the availability of a copy of the student’s and parent’s rights as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:14. All CST communication materials shall be printed in the dominant language of the referred child’s family.2.    The Contractor’s child study team, at an interpretative conference, will determine pupil eligibility for supplemental education services and will classify each pupil found to be educationally handicapped N.J.A.C. 6A:14. The Child Study Team conference shall be conducted in the dominant language of the referred child’s family.3.    The Contractor shall provide, at an additional cost the required specialist when any of the following classifications are recommended by the team upon completion of its testing:a.    Auditory handicapped (Audio
