Canned, Bottled and Fountain Beverages

PURPOSEThe Glendale Union High School District (GUHSD) is looking for qualified companies to provide Canned, Bottled and Fountain Beverage products and machines at all (9) nine school locations. The Glendale Union High School District requires a full line of non-alcoholic, carbonated and non-carbonated beverages to include soft drinks, iced tea, juice/fruit drinks (i.e., lemonade or punch), sports drinks, and bottled water. There are currently different types of vendor-owned fountain machines in place at the locations. The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for replacing the current machines with their own where applicable.The Contractor shall deliver, install and service all fountain machines as well as maintain all equipment and provide routine maintenance.  The Contractor shall promptly repair or replace machines that are determined to be inoperable. A repair technician shall respond to a service call within one (1) business day. These requirements shall be provided at no cost to the Glendale Union High School District.Fountain drink machines should feature a variety of beverage options. Contractor should also provide ice makers and dispensers. These can be attached to the fountain drink machines or be a stand-alone machine. All equipment must have the capacity to meet the volume needs of each school. If requested by the Glendale Union High School District, the Contractor shall offer training to demonstrate to Glendale Union High School District staff how to clean the fountain machines, change out syrup, manage carbonator and provide any other pertinent information.VENDORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO CAREFULLY READ THE ENTIRE REQUEST FOR PROPSAL.
