Call for Bid – Greenlee County Public Works Building Erection

CALL FOR BIDS NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) 11-254.01 that the Greenlee County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 3:00 PM, local time, Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the board office located in the Greenlee County Courthouse Annex at 253 5th Street, PO Box 908, Clifton, AZ 85533 for erection of the metal building for the proposed Greenlee County public works facility. The work involves erection of a Mueller-supplied prefabricated metal building on an existing concrete slab. The building dimensions are 50 feet x 100 feet. The building includes an awning along the back with dimensions of 20 feet x 100 feet. Bidders are cautioned that the United States Postal Service does NOT deliver mail to the board office at 253 5th St. Bidders desiring to submit bids via the United States Postal Service should address said bids to PO Box 908, Clifton, AZ 85533. Specifications are available upon request from the office of the Greenlee County Engineer, located in Room 208 on the second floor of the Greenlee County Courthouse Annex at 253 5th Street, Clifton, AZ 85533, or by calling 928-865-2072. Address all questions via email to Reed Larson, County Engineer, at rlarson@greenlee.az.gov Bids shall be contained in a sealed envelope addressed to the Greenlee County Board of Supervisors. The outside of the envelope shall be marked “Greenlee County Public Works Building Erection.” Bids will be opened on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Bids will be presented to the Board of Supervisors at their next scheduled board meeting for review and possible award. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities in any bid, or to postpone the award date.
