INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow is requesting sealed bids or proposals for Library Solar Project hereby invited and will be received at or prior to 4:00 p.m. November 10th, 2026 (Mountain Standard Time) at the Office of the Clerk & Recorder, City-County of Butte-Silver Bow, Second Floor, Room 208, Courthouse Building, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, Montana 59701. Said Bids will be opened at a meeting of the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Council of Commissioners in the Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026 Invitation for Bids will be posted on the BSB’s website at https://bsbmt.gov/bids.aspx. Specifications for the above Bid will be on file at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office and copies will be available. Persons with disabilities who need an accommodation to participate in this public hearing should contact Sara Young, ADA Coordinator; Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse, Room 209, 155 West Granite Street., Butte, MT 59701; 406-497-6433; or on or before November 6th, 2026 (3) working days of the noticed bid acceptance closing date time. All Bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid bond in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a national Banking association located in the State of Montana; (c) a Bid bond or bonds executive by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. Federal Excise Tax should not be included in the Bids as Butte-Silver Bow City-County is exempt from it. The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable Federal Regulations and Requirements which include but are not limited to Section 3 Clause, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal Labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. Accordingly, the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based upon fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid deemed to represent the best interests of the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow.
