Building Inspector, Permit Technician, and Plan Check Services

Description

The City of Monterey (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Building Inspector, Permit Technician/Administrative Assistant and Plan Check services. The City is a charter city located in the County of Monterey.  The City of Monterey Community Development Department includes five disciplines:  planning, building, housing, property management and sustainability.  Under the direction of the Community Development Director, the Chief of Inspection Services/Building Official oversees daily operations of the Building and Safety Division.  In this office, the City anticipates periodic vacancies due to vacations, illness, retirement, promotions and other similar reasons.
