Building Capacity and Resilience for Community Well-being Across the Lifespan

Washington County Health and Human Services (HHS) Prevention Programs are seeking proposers to collaborate on a variety of opportunities to promote the health and wellbeing of the residents of Washington County, Oregon. This Request for Formal Programmatic Qualifications (RFPQ) seeks to solicit a pool of qualified agencies that are interested in partnering with HHS Prevention on specific scopes of work, as they arise. Washington County may partner with one or multiple agencies, depending on available funding, that align with one or more of the programs under the HHS umbrella, which includes:Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention and Education (ADPEP)Children, Youth and FamiliesTobacco Prevention and Education (TPEP)Suicide PreventionHHS Prevention programs work upstream and use strategies grounded in equity, trauma informed principals, healing and resilience to make community-level impacts. HHS's combination of programs, initiatives, communications, policies, systems and environmental change strategies are designed to support the community across the life span. To do this effectively we recognize the importance of partnering with community-based organizations to increase their local capacity and uplift community driven efforts that are culturally responsive, with the objective of mitigating risk factors and strengthening protective factors.
