Brookhurst Street Improvements from Cerritos Avenue to 150' N/O Guinida Lane

Description

The work consists of widening the roadway on the west side of the street, paving, sidewalks, cross gutter and spandrels, curbs and gutters, walls, driveway approaches, drainage improvements, catch basin and storm drain improvements, WQMP BMP improvements, water line improvements, hardscape, landscaping and irrigation improvements, utility improvements, street light improvements, signage, striping, pavement markings, replacement of traffic detection devices, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Project’s Plans and Specifications.This project is covered “Project Work” as defined in the Second Amended and Restated Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) the City entered into with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council and the Signatory Craft Councils and Local Unions. Therefore, the awarded Contractor and its subcontractors of all tiers shall agree to be party to and bound by the CWA by signing a Letter of Assent (a form attached to the CWA as Attachment A). The CWA will be incorporated by reference in the Construction Contract and can be accessed at the City’s website at: http://anaheim.net/229/Public-Works10% bid bond is required.
