Purpose: Alachua County is soliciting proposals for a Broadband Deployment grant to identify Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to bring reliable and high-quality broadband connectivity in order to expand, provide, and make affordable high-speed broadband services available to as many households and businesses to unserved and underserved areas in Alachua County.ISPs will extend the current broadband infrastructure to provide broadband and other cable-related services to Alachua County residents and will design, construct, and maintain state-of-the-art broadband network in service extension areas designated by the parties.
