Boone County Public Works Voucher Program for Waste Disposal

Description

The Boone County Fiscal Court is accepting bids from qualified vendors for the disposal of waste, including debris, bulk items, and garbage, brought to the successful vendor by Boone County citizens utilizing County-issued vouchers. The initial contract term shall begin upon execution of the contract and continue through June 30, 2027. The contract may thereafter be renewed for additional one-year fiscal year terms (July 1 through June 30) upon mutual agreement of both parties.This program does not include liquid waste, hazardous waste, paint, mattresses, or tires. Boone County intends to provide vouchers at no cost to its citizens for waste disposal. Citizens will be responsible for transporting the waste to the successful vendor in accordance with advertised and documented guidelines and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Boone County will subsequently reimburse the successful vendor for the number of valid vouchers redeemed.
