THE WATERTOWN BOARD OF EDUCATION WATERTOWN, CONNECTICUT NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REPAIR/MAINTENANCE Sealed proposals are invited and will be received by the Business Manager of the Watertown Board of Education until FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2026 at 11AM at 61 Echo Lake Road, Watertown, CT 06795, Board of Education Offices, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the installation of KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REPAIR/MAINTENANCE at the following locations: John Trumbull Primary School, Judson Elementary School, Polk Elementary School, Swift Middle School, Watertown High School, in Watertown, CT. The Information for Proposals, Specifications and other contract documents may be obtained or examined at the Board of Education Offices, Town Hall 61 Echo Lake Road, Watertown, Connecticut 06795 or by accessing the Board of Education’s website at https://www.watertownps.org/o/watertown-public-schools/page/request-for-proposal-rfp Proposals must be submitted including the forms provided and in a sealed envelope plainly marked KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REPAIR/MAINTENANCE. To receive consideration, proposals must be in the hands of the Business Manager or her authorized representative no later than the day and hour mentioned above. The Business Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Watertown Board of Education. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days. The Watertown Board of Education reserves the right to waive technical defects in proposals, reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, to make awards, in whole or in part, including accepting a proposal or part of a proposal, although not the low proposal, that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Board. The Watertown Board of Education is exempt from the payment of Federal Excise Taxes and Connecticut Sales and Use Tax according to State Statute. Such taxes must not be included in RFP prices.
