Board of Police and Fire Commissioners The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is tasked with establishing the testing and hiring process for employment within the Village’s Fire and Police Departments. In addition, the Board has the authority to suspend, discharge, demote, cause longevity or holiday pay to be forfeited, and order random drug testing of any officer or sworn member of the Fire or Police Department.
