Due to a misinterpretation of the integral curb bid item, Hendy revised their unit price for integral curb. This resulted in Jefferson Contracting’s bid being lower than Hendy’s revised bid. Jefferson Contracting was contacted and will honor their original bid price. The Bidder submitted all required information for the Bid. The bid totals and breakdown are attached for reference. The total bid amounts are for comparison purposes only, and the unit prices listed are what will be used moving forward. Jefferson Contracting has completed similar projects in the region, and we have confidence that they can complete the work as outlined in the scope.
