INVITATION TO BID The McCracken County Fiscal Court is seeking sealed bids from a qualified vendor for the removal and replacement of the kitchen tile located in the McCracken County Jail. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the McCracken County Jail on August 17, 2023 at 10 am. Detailed bid proposals can be obtained in the office of the McCracken County Judge Executive located at 300 Clarence Gaines, Paducah Ky 42001 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm or downloaded from the McCracken County Website. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. central standard time August 24, 2023 al the office of Judge Executive Craig Z. Clymer, McCracken County Court House and will be opened and read aloud immediately following in Meeting Room A. BID PROPOSAL REMOVE AND REPLACE THE KITCHEN TILE LOCATED IN THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY JAIL (hereinafter called the BIDDER), to the Proposal of McCracken County Fiscal Court,(hereinafter called the OWNER). The Bidder hereby proposes to furnish all labor and materials to remove and replace approximately 1170 SF of institutional tile flooring per the specification guidelines listed below and provide an itemized list of materials to be used in the project. Specification Guidelines ALL WORK TO BE COMPLETED DURING THE NIGHT HOURS AFTER DINNER SERVICE AND BEFORE BREAKFAST SERVICE EACH DAY OF THE PROJECT, SPECIFIC TIMES TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY JAILER. Scope of Work Ventilation and dust remediation Removal and Replacement of all appliances including plumbing and electrical as needed nightly, Demolition of the existing tile floor, removing self-leveler when needed. Floor Prep to include self-leveler when needed. lnstall approximately 117O SF of 6x6 institutional tile complete with grout and approximately 140 LF of tile baseboard, lnstall expansion joint. Cleaning up, trash removal and dust collection occur nightly. Material Listed below or equivalent.
