INVITATION TO BID The McCracken County Fiscal Court is seeking sealed bids from a qualified vendor for the removal and replacement of a custom freezer located in the McCracken County Jail. A mandatory pre-bid field survey will be held at the McCracken County Jail on August 17,2023 at 10 am. Detailed bid proposals can be obtained in the office of the McCracken County Judge Executive located at 300 Clarence Gaines, Paducah Ky 42001 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm or downloaded from the McCracken County Website. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. central standard time August 24, 2023 al the office of Judge Executive Craig Z. Clymer, McCracken County Court House and opened and read aloud immediately following in Meeting Room A of the McCracken Count Courthouse. BID PROPOSAL REMOVE AND REPLACE WALK IN FREEZER LOGATED IN THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY JAIL (hereinafter called the BIDDER), to the Proposal of McCracken County Fiscal Court,(hereinafter called the OWNER). Bidder hereby proposes to furnish all labor and materials to remove and replace custom freezer per the specification guidelines listed below and provide an itemized list of materials to be used in the project. Specification Guidelines ALL WORK TO BE COMPLETED DURING THE NIGHT HOURS AFTER DINNER SERVICE AND BEFORE BREAKFAST SERVICE EACH DAY OF THE PROJECT, SPECIFIC TIMES TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY JAILER. Demolition of the existing freezer lnstallation of custom 3 room freezer utilizing the existing evaporators and condensers Provide electrical service as needed during demolition and installation. Proper disposal of all materials removed and clean up of job site required daily. Time to Completion (Days) Lump Sum Price $ General Requirements Any and all subcontractors are subject to approval of the owner. The bidder shall submit the following prior to executing an agreement: Certificate of $1,000,000 liability insurance A valid McCracken County and City of Paducah business license BID EVALUATION Contractor Name: Lump Sum Price (100%) Lowest and Best bid to be awarded.
