City of Minot Requests for Sealed Bids The City of Minot, North Dakota is requesting sealed bids for salvageable items, located within structures that were purchased by the City within the footprint of the flood control project. Items will be sold as-is with no guarantee or warranty to their condition or soundness. Each bid must include either 1) the entire bid amount or 2) a five (5) percent bid bond in a separate envelope attached to the bid envelope. Acceptable will be cashier checks, bidder bond, or cash. Any outstanding balance must be paid within five (5) days of highest bid award. Items are being sold as a package, not individually. The winning bidder acquires rights to all advertised salvageable items within the structure at the designated address. Items must be removed at winning bidder’s expense, within 10 business days of bid award. Items left beyond timeframe are considered forfeited and subject to demolition with the structure. Exceptions require City approval. Access to structures shall be coordinated through the City of Minot Property Maintenance department and winning bidder shall ensure structure remains secure upon departure. Debris and/or damage created by item removal shall be the winning bidder’s responsibility. These addresses contain salvageable items available for bid, such as furnaces, cabinets, HVAC, etc. Address 808 1st Ave SW 709 Central Ave W 705 Central Ave W 701 Central Ave W Structures will be open and available to view on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to noon. City staff will not be present at all structures. This will be the only viewing opportunity. All envelopes must be sealed, and the face of the envelope shall be clearly marked “City Property for Sale” with the address of the structure being bid on. Any bidder may bid on more than one structure, however only one bid may be submitted per envelope, and a separate performance bond is required for each structure. Any bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. The City of Minot reserves, to itself, the right to reject any or all bids.
