PROJECT NO. 24110 COUNTY BID REF. #2627-08 DAVIESS COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for the Daviess County Public Safety Facility (County Bid Reference #2627-08) for the Daviess County Fiscal Court as described in this Document and prepared by Brandstetter Carroll Inc. The project consists of the construction of the new Daviess County Public Safety Facility and a Coroners Building. Bids will be received for Single Prime Contract for the work. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: 1. 2. 3. Bid Date: August 24, 2026 Bid Time: 2:00 p.m., local time. Location: Daviess County Court House; 212 St. Ann Street, Room 202; Owensboro, KY 42303 Bids received after this date and time will not be accepted. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served. The owner will accept the most qualified and best bid that serves their interests. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. There will not be a Prebid meeting for this project. Contractors can obtain digital documents after July 24, 2026, by visiting Daviess County’s website Bids - Daviess County Kentucky. Drawings and Specifications can be examined at the following places: Allied Construction Industries ISQFT CMD Group Bid Clerk McGraw Hill / Dodge Construction Journal BX Kentucky Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall fully complete the Work within 450 calendar days. Work is subject to liquidated damages per the Supplemental Conditions of the Contract. All bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
