Purchasing Department 530 Water Street Oakland, CA 94607 October 19, 2026 ADDENDUM No. 1 Bid No. 26-27/13, Commvault Cloud HyperScale X Appliance Hardware, Software Subscription and Services This Addendum modifies the original Bid documents for the above referenced Bid. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on Bid Form (Attachment 2). Failure to do so may disqualify your bid. The following questions were submitted by the deadline and are answered in this addendum: 1) Question: Please confirm if the Port is accepting response submission for the subject RFQ via email. Response: Bids must be mailed or delivered to the submittal address by the due date and time specified in the Invitation for Bid. E-mailed submissions will not be considered. 2) Question: The bid title references "Hardware," but Item 1 (CV-HSXHA-4-3N-51) is described as "Appliance Software for Arrow HPE." Does the SKU include the HPE server hardware for the two 3-node clusters, or will the Port supply the servers? What are the Server Model and specifications? Response: Yes, the SKU includes the HPE server hardware for the two 3-node clusters. The server model (DL320 Gen 11) and specifications can be found at the following URL: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.40/software/hyperscale_x_appliance_models_te chnical_specifications.html 3) Question: Item 1 includes "Rack & Stack," while Enclosure A, Section C states that no on-site services are required for installation or configuration. Who is expected to physically rack the hardware? Please also confirm the delivery (Ship To) address and whether both clusters will be installed at a single location. Response: Physical rack and stack will be performed by a third-party service provider relative to SKU CV-HSXHA-4-3N-51. The delivery address for each cluster is 530 Water Street, Oakland CA 94607 and 1 Airport Drive, Oakland CA 94621. 4) Question: Appendix A-1, Section 3 grants a perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid license, while this bid is for a 5-year subscription. Please confirm that the 5-year subscription term for the Commvault software satisfies Appendix A-1, and how the Port would like the license grant addressed for subscription software. Response: Should an awarding bid have a license structure that differs from Appendix-A-1, the Port plans to discuss with the bidder whether there is a solution that can satisfy both parties. 26-27/13 – Addendum No.
