This Addendum is hereby included in the Contract Documents to the same extent as though it were originally included therein. The following items modify, add to, delete from, or explain the drawings and/or specifications. The contents of this Addendum shall take precedence over the original specifications and plans. Bid RFIs due: 5:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2026 Last Addendum:2:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 Bid due date: 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at: LMUSD Facilities Office 222 Stanley Avenue Arroyo Grande, California 93420 Item #1: Pre-Bid RFIs (as received by 2:00 PM, May 27, 2026) Question 1: Plansheet C-1.2, Note #5, references the temporary relocation of the existing (4) containers during construction operations. Please clarify whether relocation, storage/staging, and reinstallation of the containers upon completion of the new asphalt paving improvements will be performed by the District or if this scope is to be included as part of the General Contractor’s responsibilities. If relocation is to be performed by the Contractor, please provide the designated staging/storage location for the containers during the construction period, as well as any access or operational requirements associated with the temporary relocation. Response 1: The District will handle the relocation, storage, and reinstallation of the containers. Question 2: Plansheet S-101 Foundation Notes reference a Geotechnical/Soils Report; however, the reference report does not appear to be included within the provided bid documents. Can the reference Soils Report please be released for review? In the absence of the report, please provide clarification regarding the anticipated retaining wall footing preparation requirements. Specifically, District Office ADA Ramps & Flatwork – Addendum 01 May 28, 2026 Page 2 of 3 will the retaining wall footings require over-excavation and recompaction with engineer fill, or is the intent for footings to bear directly on undisturbed native fill? Additionally, please confirm whether a perforated subdrain system will be required at the back of the retaining wall.
