Item No. 1-1: Prebid RFI 01 Is Builder's Risk Insurance Required: Will Builders Risk insurance be required for this project? If Builders Risk is required ,will the coverage only be for this scope of work? PBK Response: Builder's Risk insurance is required for this project, per the Bid Docs, and is only required for this scope of work. Item No. 1-2: Prebid RFI 02 Confirm Asphalt area to be Saw-Cut and demo'ed: On sheet C1 demolition note #6 says to saw cut and remove existing asphalt paving. 1. Is there asphalt paving under the existing portables, between the portables and behind the potables? 2. Please confirm that the only asphalt paving that is to be remove is in front (north) of the portables and on the east side of the second portable to the saw cut line. PBK Response: 1.There is no asphalt paving between or behind the portables. There is no asphalt beneath the portables. Currently there is concrete beneath one of the portables, but that will be removed when the portable is removed. 2. Confirmed. The asphalt removal is intended to include the asphalt paving in front of / north of the portables and east of the second portable to the sawcut line, as shown. Item No. 1-3: Prebid RFI 03 Confirm New Chain Link Fence connection locations: Please confirm the point of connections of the new chain link fencing to the existing chain link fencing. Is the new chain link fencing only at the new mow curb as shown on sheet C1? PBK Response: Approximate location of termination of (N) fencing and connection to (E) fencing shown on attached sheet A1.02. Contractor to verify precise location in field.
