ADDENDUM 02 Project: DSA #: Bid #: Lucia Mar Unified School District Shell Beach Elementary School New Classroom Wing 19six #: 25002.01 03-125572 File #: 40-39 0581 Date: April 30, 2026 To all bidders submitting proposals for the above captioned project. This Addendum is hereby included in the Contract Documents to the same extent as though it were originally included therein. The following items modify, add to, delete from, or explain the drawings and/or specifications. The contents of this Addendum shall take precedence over the original specifications and plans. CLARIFICATIONS & PRE-BID RFIS: Item #1: CLARIFICATION – LIFT STATION SCOPE: See attached Lift Station Exhibit documenting the ongoing work in phase one construction (by others). Contractor shall provide only the required connection where sewer waste line exits the footing to the final connection into the existing lift station that will now be installed in phase one. Refer to exhibit for extents of trenching and utility POC required within this scope. Additionally, please note that the POC for the (2) 4” electrical conduits has been relocated, as noted in the exhibit. Contractor to confirm the locations of all underground existing utility connection points prior to trenching and utility work. Item #2: CLARIFICATION – CASEWORK CABINET LOCKS: The specification section 06 41 00 Architectural Wood Casework lists cabinet locks under the Cabinet Hardware subsection 2.2. Do not provide cabinet locks at the casework cabinet doors for this project. Item #3: PRE-BID RFI – STRUCTURAL STEEL AND GUARDRAILS/HANDRAILS: Q: 1. Columns will be HSS square or round? Page S-201 keynote 13 says HSS and on page S-402 detail 10, 11 shows round? Please clarify. 2. The railing posts will be installed on the curb with metal base plates, or will it be cored holes and poured with concrete? 3. Railing joints after they are completed will they be bolted or welded? 4. After fabrication of trellis and railings will they be H.D. galvanized? Specs for pipe and tube railings part 3.2 says we will have to fabricate, test fit, and then send to H.D. galvanize because it says we cannot weld, cut, or abrade surfaces of railing that have been coated.
