ADDENDUM TO BID NO. 2311 GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTIRCT Purchasing Department 10331 Stanford Avenue Garden Grove, CA 92840 (714) 663-6340 Date: January 30, 2024 Project: Bid No 2311 – Fencing Project# 6 From: Sunny Ho, Purchasing Addendum Number: 1 The clarifications, modifications, changes, additions, and/or deletions contained herein shall be incorporated within the construction documents for the project. Such information shall take precedence over that previously published. Responses shall be considered modifications to the contract hereby incorporated into the contract documents as established above. CHANGES TO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: 1) REVISED BRYANT ES, GILBERT ES, RIVERDALE ES AND SIMMONS ES AERIALS SHOWING REVISED AMERISTAR FENCING SCOPES OF WORK. LINEAR FOOTAGES HAVE CHANGED PER THE ATTACHED AERIALS. QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS: Questions per verbatim 1) QUESTION: Please confirm the concrete mow curb is required for ALL new fencing installed? The summary of work states the measurements of curb for each site but differs from the total footage of fence installed. 1.2.4. C-Riverdale Elementary School 1) Provide and install approximately 410 linear feet of 6 foot high Ameristar Montage II Genesis 2 Rail Ornamental Iron fencing. 2) Provide and install 2 each 5 foot wide clear by 6 foot high Ameristar utility gate with fork latch that is lockable. 3) Provide and install 1 each approximately 16 foot wide by 6 foot high vinyl chain link double gate with locking hardware 4) Provide and install approximately 200 linear feet of 12 inch by 6 inch concrete mow curb with rebar. 1.2.11. Provide and install twelve (12) inch wide by +/six (6) inch deep mow curb for all new fencing. The mow curb thickness will vary due to the existing site elevations. Contractor will verify the depth of the mow curb so as to provide a level and uniform mow curb for the entire length of the new the fencing. Mow curb shall be 2500 psi. ANSWER: Setting fencing posts with footings in existing asphalt or concrete is acceptable. New concrete mow curbs are to be installed in landscape and softscape areas. Per paragraph 1.2.7. of the Summary of Work: Contractor shall verify in the field all linear footages. 2) QUESTION: Please provide new fence layout for Riverdale ES. ANSWER: see attached revised fence layout for Riverdale ES. 3) Question: Please indicate on the site plans what areas require privacy slats per site.
