March 27, 2023 TO FROM PROJECT : : : SUBJECT : All Bidders Austin Duncklee Paulding MS MDF Relocation Project 230109 Addendum 1 The following changes, omissions, and/or additions to the Project Manual and/or Drawings shall apply to proposals made for and to the execution of the various parts of the work affected thereby, and all other conditions shall remain the same. Careful note of the Addendum shall be taken by all parties of interest so that the proper allowances may be made in strict accordance with the Addendum, and that all trades shall be fully advised in the performance of the work which will be required of them. Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. In case of conflict between Drawings, Project Manual, and this Addendum, this Addendum shall govern. THIS ADDENDUM TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION IN PREPARATION OF YOUR BID. RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM SHALL BE INDICATED ON THE PROPOSAL PAGE AND SUBMITTED WITH YOUR BID: PROJECT MANUAL 2.01 SPECIFICATION SECTION 33 23 00 – EXCAVATING, BACKFILLING AND COMPACTING FOR UTILITIES A. Section 3.06.C.4. to be deleted from the specification. DRAWINGS 2.02 DRAWING E1.0 – ELECTRICAL SITE CONDUIT AND CABLING PLAN A. The following General Notes are to be added: 3. Replace (E) NEMA 1 J&P boxes with NEMA 3R 4. All (E) and (N) conduit ends to have bushings 5. All J&P boxes to have code and spec approved connectors 6. Contractor to inform District of discovered decommissioned cables in boxes and conduits used for (N) fiber. Removal of decommissioned cables will be by others. 7. Fiber and phone service conduits – horizontal elbow to be 60” radius 8. PBC conduits in vaults and at on-grade termination to have bell end fitting. 9. Underground conduits that extend past finish grade are to transition to rigid steel @ 18” below finished grade.
