Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Q. Are we only bidding single phase units? A. Yes, all units are single phase. Q. Are Economizers required for this bid to meet Title 24? A. No economizers. Q. If economizers are not required, is a ASHRAE compliant ventilation device still required? A. No ASHARE compliant. Q. If economizers are required, will C02 sensors be required to meet Title 24? A. No CO2 sensors. Q. What control systems does the district use and will a 2-10 volt actuator be required in the units economizer for the control systems? A. We use a 24-volt thermostat so no 2-10-volt actuator is needed. Q. Are heat strips required? If so what size kw? A. 5KW in 3.5ton unit, 4KW in 4ton unit, 5kw in 5ton unit. Q. Will Bard Guards (condenser coil protection) be required? (the district has commonly requested these with their units in the past) A. No, we will purchase as needed. Q. I'm reaching out regarding the above project bidding on 5/24/23. Can you please provide the following information? · Plan Holders list · Any Labor requirements · Cost estimate or budget · Construction start/end date A. There will not be any installation services on this bid, this would just be for the purchases of the wall units. Q. We received the bid documents for the above referenced project but were unable to locate the engineer's estimate. If possible, please reply back to this email with the engineer’s estimate or kindly forward this to the person best able to provide this information. A.
