GGUSD Fencing Project Bid # 2201 ADDENDUM NO. 1 Date: August 3, 2022 Owner: Garden Grove Unified School District 10331 Stanford Avenue Garden Grove, California 92840-6353 The clarifications, modifications, changes, additions, and/or deletions contained herein shall be incorporated within the construction documents for the project. Such information shall take precedence over that previously published. Responses shall be considered modifications to the contract hereby incorporated into the contract documents as established above. CHANGES TO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: ITEM 1.1: REPLACE QUESTION 1A ON PAGE 33 OF THE PREQAULIFICATION FORM WITH QUESTION 1A BELOW: 1a. PRIME CONTRACTORS ONLY: Has your Firm contracted for and completed construction of a minimum of: • Four (4) California K-12 public school construction projects, • Each with a value of at least $100,000, and • All within the past five (5) years? (Please circle one). NOTE: You must list these projects in the “Contractor Project References” Section. ITEM 1.2: DELETE AND REMOVE QUESTION 1B ON PAGE 33 OF THE PREQAULIFICATION FORM QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS: 1) Question: On Page 33 of the (Prequalification) Questions Can you verify please that if any answer is NO to any one question 1a. 1b. or 2 cannot prequalify Answer: Yes. Question 1a has been revised and question 1b has been deleted. 2) Question: These are specifically Garden Grove Unified School District projects only? Or will California K-12 public school Projects qualify? Answer: California K-12 Projects will qualify. 3) Question: At Los Amigos there is approximately 290lf x 10’ high Fence on Terrel Street. Will this fence remain? Answer: Keep existing 10’ high chain-link fencing as is. 4) Question: At Los Amigos the 8’ high is on Existing Asphalt. Verify we will cut out asphalt and replace with Mow Curb to be flush Answer: Setting posts in existing asphalt is acceptable. 5) Can the existing Chain Link at Sunnyside be cut flush and filled or will the footing have to be removed as well? Answer: Yes. 6) Behind Bus Turnout. Existing Chain Link under the canopy is attached to Canopy Post. Will Tube Steel Panes be attached to these posts as well? Answer: Install new Ameristar and concrete mow curb in front of the canopy posts and concrete walkway. ATTACHMENTS: None END OF ADDENDUM NO. 1
