UNIVERSITY OVERVIEW Mississippi State University (MSU) is a comprehensive land grant university. The main campus is located adjacent to the community of Starkville in northeast Mississippi, with a remote campus located in Meridian. Additionally, the university operates several remote agricultural experiment stations and has an Extension office located in each of the eighty-two Mississippi counties. INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL ON RFP Mississippi State University is requesting proposals from qualified firms to enter into a contract for a single platform that can handle: Institutional Repository, Digital Collections, Journal Hosting, and ETD hosting. 3. SCOPE OF SERVICES REQUIRED Description of proposed solution. At minimum, this should include: Company Background o What is the legal name of your company? o Are you a subsidiary, affiliate, or franchise? If yes, what is the name of your parent company? o Please provide how many years your company has been in business. o General background information on your company.
