UNIVERSITY OVERVIEW Mississippi State University (MSU) is a comprehensive land grant university. The main campus is located adjacent to the community of Starkville in northeast Mississippi, with a remote campus located in Meridian. Additionally, the university operates several remote agricultural experiment stations and has an Extension office located in each of the eighty-two Mississippi counties. INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL ON RFP Mississippi State University is requesting proposals to furnish, deliver and install a commercially available, vendor-supported, on-premise software solution to automate door schedule activation and deactivation based on academic and event data. This solution must be fully compatible with our existing infrastructure, including CollegeNet Series25 and Genetec Synergis access control systems. The selected product must not be a general-purpose access control system but rather a middleware integration platform purpose-built to bridge scheduling and access control technologies with minimal ongoing IT or facilities staff intervention. MSU is seeking a one year agreement the begins July 1, 2026 with the option to renew for an additional three 12-month periods.
