CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: LS39, LS15, and LS42 Valve Replacements Project File Number: OCA-26-1176 Engineering Project Number: 2026.737.001 Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security. Project Scope: Replacement of valves at Lift Station 39, Lift Station 15 and Lift Station 42. Lift Station 39: 3 x 16” Plug Valves on Suction Side, 3 x 12” Plug Valves on Discharge Side, and 3 x 10” x 12” Check Valves. Lift Station 15: 2 x 16” Plug Valves on Suction Side, 2 x 12” Plug Valves on Discharge Side, and 2 x 10”x12” Check Valves. Lift Station 42 3x16” Plug Valves on Suction Side, 3 x 12” Plug Valves on Discharge Side, 2 x 10”x12” Check Valves, and 1 x 10” Check Valve. Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
