CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: Freeman Park & Pool Improvements File Number: OCA-26-1068 Engineering Project Number: N/A Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security. Project Scope: The project consists of renovations to the A.L. Freeman Pool building and general site civil work improvements to Freeman Park. The building improvements include new pool mechanical equipment and locker room and lighting upgrades. The park improvements include a concrete drop off, new concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutter, irrigation service, new fencing, and lighting and security upgrades. Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening. Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of TTL, Inc., located at 3200 Rice Mine Rd. NE, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 and plans, specifications and other elements of the contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Engineer TTL, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at 3200 Rice Mine Rd.
