Transit is in need of six new Allison H40 EP hybrid battery packs (ESS) for a portion of its 2018 Gillig 40’low floor Hybrid heavy duty bus fleet. The hybrid battery packs in the selected portion of the fleet have met the internal mileage requirements for replacement and are being replaced as a proactive measure to assist the Transit Maintenance Division in keeping the fleet in a good state of repair.
