Starr County’s CDV 25-0006 2025-2026 TXCDBG Road Improvement Project Bid Advertisement The County of Starr will receive bids for Starr County 2025-2026 TXCDBG Road Improvement Project until 2:00 pm on August 25th, 2026, at Starr County Annex Building (100 N. F.M. 3167, Rio Grande City, Tx,78582). Bids must be addressed to: Starr County Judge, Eloy Vera. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after 2:00 p.m. on August 25th, 2026, at Starr County Annex Building (100 N. F.M. 3167, Rio Grande City, Tx,78582). A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on August 14th, 2026, at Starr County Annex Building (100 N. F.M. 3167, Rio Grande City, Tx,78582). The project will consist of the reconstruction of sections along Victoria Street, Hibiscus Street, Luis Martinez Lane, and Beto Guerrero Lane. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. 1330 LF of ½ HMAC, 8” Caliche Base, 6” Subgrade along with Victoria Street 2. 1014 LF of ½ HMAC, 8” Caliche Base, 6” Subgrade along with Hibiscus Street 3. 1070 LF of ½ HMAC, 8” Caliche Base, 6” Subgrade, 100 LF concrete low water crossing along with Luis Martinez Lane and Beto Guerrero Lane 4. Construction and Street Signage Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are on file at city hall located at 100 N. F.M. 3167 (Suite 220), Rio Grande City, Tx,78582, open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Bidding documents may be obtained at Rio Delta Engineering located at 117 Rio Vista Boulevard, Rio Grande City, Texas, 78582, telephone: (956) 263-1041, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $ 75.00 Seventy-five Dollars per set, payable to “Rio Delta Engineering,” plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
