Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. 1. Questions verbatim: Q. Please confirm the concrete mow curb is required for ALL new fencing installed? The summary of work states the measurements of curb for each site but differs from the total footage of fence installed. A. Concrete mow curb to be installed at all new fencing in landscape areas. Per bid documents section 1.2.1 contractor to field verify all measurements. Q. Please indicate on the site plans what areas require privacy slats per site. A. See attachment A, B, & C. Q. Based on the Summary of work, please confirm the gates listed on the bid documents are the only ones to be replaced. A. Gate quantities to be bid per the summary of work. Q. At Lawrence ES, can you please confirm if the school logo installed onto the existing chain link fence will be demolished & become trash? Will any new logo be installed onto the new wrought iron fence? A. New logo not in scope of work. Q. Would it be acceptable to substitute the Ameristar Fence system from Fortress Fence system? A. Proposals to include specified materials only. Q. Can you give us more information about the screen that goes on the fence for the kindergarten areas Spec and Design A. Per section 1.2.6 provide and install Hurricane Manufacturing Company privacy slats install between bottom and top rails on all new fencing at the kinder areas only. The slat color shall be black. Additional District Additions to Bid: - Attachment D shows a location at Lawrence Elementary where we will need to figure (2) Ameristar fencing panels on each side of the driveway, (4) Ameristar panels each to allow for district trucks to turn in to unlock the gate and be out of the flow of traffic on Lampson.
