Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Questions per verbatim: Q. If we only bid on the Catalog Discount portion and No Bid the Line Items, will we be deemed un-responsive? A. If no bids are placed on the bid form pricing sheet, the bidder is placing a “no bid” on all items. You will not be deemed un-responsive, however GGUSD can only utilize the catalog discount when one or more items from the bid form pricing sheet has been awarded to the bidder(s). Q. One question that I would like to ask is about the piggyback clause. It is stated that the line item portion of the bid is piggybackable but not the catalog discount provision. I would like to know why/what made that determination. A. As per public contract code, only the items that are listed on the formal bid are allowed to be purchased through the same terms and conditions with other school districts and public entities. The catalog discount is an additional feature that we will use here at GGUSD, but the contract cannot be extended to other school districts/public entities for items that are not listed on the bid form. Q. In regards to Bid No. 2102, is the Bid Form Price Sheet available in excel format? A. I’m sorry but we are not able to release the bid form in excel format at this time. Q. Good morning, so I wanted to just give a heads up, you have envelopes with a must sample on item 90120b which are the 1000 bx. But that is discontinued from the mfg. they have the same model but in the 500 box. did you want a sample of that? A. We will accept the 500 bx substitute. Changes to this item have been made on the substitution list below as well as the revised bid form pricing sheet. Please quote on two (2) 500/bx to equal the 1000 qty.
